Warning: This Blog may offend. Someone once described me as "straight from the school yard". It's true. I have the sense of humor and the wardrobe of a 13 year old boy. If you're looking for a blog that is thought provoking, clever or cute... move along.

Secret Identity
Almost no one knows this about me, but I want nothing more than to go to Comic-Con in San Diego and dress up as a super hero. In 5th and 6th grade I would spend hours drawing the ripped bodies of made-up super heroes. At recess me and two other boys in my grade would compare pictures we had drawn and our X-men card collections. While other girls my age were trying to grow up too fast, I was still playing X-men in the streets with my two best friends. I was always Rouge. She's so awesome. When Batman Returns came out and I saw Michelle Pfeiffer as Cat Woman, I remember thinking, "I want to be her. Someday, somehow I will own a patten leather bodysuit with a whip and find an excuse to wear it." Much to Luke's disappointment this has not happened yet. In High School I was made fun of for my homemade Spiderman book-covers and after school would come home and watch Batman cartoons. As an adult I discovered the Avatar series and will watch multiple episodes at night after my kids are in bed. Had Ender been born a year later I might have named him Aang. Instead we named our cat Suki after Sokka's girlfriend. I absolutely love anything to do with super human powers. I probably should have out grown this by now, but at age 29 I'm pretty sure I never will. Someday I will make it to Comic-Con, and hopefully while I'm still young enough to look good in spandex.
